Howto create an SPF record for your domain

I didn't know how to create this!

 Solution

An SPF record is an Sender Policy Framework and it's used to check if someone has the rights to send mail with that domain name. The purpose of the SPF record in the DNS zone file is to set the mails servers that are allowed to send mail for that domain.

So spam filters that checks SPF records can check if the mail server that have been used to send the mail is the one from the SPF record. If it's not than block the mail! Of course this will only work if your spam filter actually checks SPF records.

To create a SPF record for your own domain follow the wizard provided by Microsoft:
