Windows 8 Dowgrade to 7 BIOS SETTING - Secure Boot

If you want to downgrade your Windows 8 pc to Windows 7, you may receive a secure boot error.

 Problem

When downgrading Windows 8 to Windows 7, we have to disable the secure boot option

 Solution

For those wishing to downgrade their shipped installed Windows 8 to windows 7 use Bios settings below:

- Security - Set a supervisor password (non empty!)
- Security – Secure Boot Configuration – Secure Boot Option : [Disabled] This is Greyed out if you skipped the password!
- Advanced – Boot Configurations – Fast Boot : [Disabled]
- Advanced – Boot Configurations – CSM : [Enabled]
- Save Changes and Exit
